The Beginning..
In 1977 Country Woolens opened as a sweater and yarn shop. After a couple of years we expanded by adding Woolrich sportswear
for men and women. Twenty eight years later the yarn is gone and we have become "Westport's Outdoor Store", offering a large selection of casual sportswear.
Every year we add more line. Currently
we have a large assortment including
Fresh Produce, Merrells, Keen, Carhartt,
Dale and Icelandic sweaters, Woolrich,
Prana, Crocs, Gramicci, Smartwool,
and many, many more including a wide
selection of gifts.
One of our main attractions is our
sale basement. It is open year round
with great bargains that change weekly.

Our hours are Monday thru Saturday
9:30 to 5:00 and Sundays 11:00 to
4:00.
