The Beginning...
In 1977 Country Woolens opened as a sweater and yarn shop. After a couple of years we expanded by adding Woolrich sportswear for men and women. Twenty eight years later the yarn is gone and we have become "Westport's Outdoor Store", offering a large selection of casual sportswear.
Every year we add more brands to our clothing and footwear lines, and now offer a large selection for both men and women. We have a wide selection of gifts and toys too!
One of our main attractions is our sale basement. It is open year round with great bargains that change weekly. You never know what you will find!
Free gift wrapping is always available. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Our hours are Monday thru Saturday 9:30am to 5:00pm and Sundays 11:00am to 4:00pm.
